The LPD SWAT Team along with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at a home near 24th and Potter around 5:45 Thursday evening. Public Information Officer Erika Thomas says it was part of an ongoing investigation that determined meth was being sold there.
She says five people were arrested and taken to the Lancaster County Jail. “Investigators found meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, cash and multiple guns inside the home,” Thomas says. 38-year-old Dewayne Johns of Lincoln is suspected of overdosing on narcotics and was taken to the hospital.”
She says Johns will be cited and booked into jail once he’s released. 36-year-old Frennel Henderson of Lincoln was arrested for possess of a firearm by prohibited person, possession of a controlled substance and possession of money while violating a drug statute.
33-year-old Papay Quiah was arrested and booked for on two counts of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. 41-year-old Rebecca Coulter, 44-year-old Ericka Holder and 24-year-old Alysha Canfield were booked for possession of a controlled substance.
