20-year-old Sebastian Barbosa of Lincoln was arrested just before 4 PM Wednesday following an investigation of 4 separate traffic incidents.

On January 18th just after 4:30 AM an LPD officer observed a motorcycle traveling 82 mph in a 45 mph zone. The officer attempted a traffic stop but the motorcycle fled. Three other incidents involving other traffic infractions occurred in late January and early February.
Social media posts led investigators to Barbosa. He was taken into custody and is charged with four counts of fleeing in a motor vehicle to avoid arrest. While fleeing top speeds reached 111-131 mph.

On Saturday, January 18, just after 4:30 a.m., an LPD officer in the area of N 84th
Street and Windmill Drive observed a motorcycle traveling 82 mph in a 45 mph zone.
The officer attempted a traffic stop, but the motorcyclist sped off.
On Wednesday, January 22, just before 1:30 a.m., an officer on routine patrol in the
area of N 27th and Cornhusker Highway saw a motorcycle do a wheelie through the
intersection. The officer attempted a traffic stop, but the motorcyclist again sped off.
On Friday, January 31, just before 11 p.m., an officer was traveling westbound on O
Street by Lyncrest Drive when a motorcycle drove up next to his marked cruiser. The
motorcyclist began to rev the engine and then sped off. The motorcyclist violated a red
traffic light and slowed down. The officer attempted a traffic stop, but the motorcyclist
sped off again, violating another red traffic light.
On Monday, February 3, just before 2:45 a.m., an officer in the area of N 27th and Vine
Streets saw a motorcycle without a license plate. The officer attempted a traffic stop,
but the motorcyclist sped off.
