The Capital Humane Society on Wednesday announced it will be hosting it’s first summer camp for kids this year. Director of Engagement Lindsay Thompson tells KLIN News Camp Humane Heroes is an engaging and educational experience for children ages 7-12.
It will be hosted at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center near 70th & Nebraska Pkwy. Thompson says there will be four sessions throughout the summer, each with a distinct curriculum designed to educate and inspire.
There is a limit of 15 campers per session and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. There are four week long sessons.
- Session One: June 9th-June 13th:
- Session Two: June 16th-June 20th
- Session Three: July 7th-July 11th
- Session Four: July 14th-18th
