The Lincoln Children’s Zoo wants Lincoln residents to help come up with a name for the new female Humboldt penguin chick. The chick was hatched at Lincoln Children’s Zoo on December 15 and is the offspring of mom, Sharkbait, and dad, John Henry.
Zoo officials say they are taking name suggestions through Thursday, February 6th. The animal care team will then choose their favorite names from the public suggestions. Final name choices will be announced on Monday, February 10th and you will have until Wednesday, February 12th to vote for your favorite.
