City officials will be sharing a strategic vision for the Belmont neighborhood during an open house on Thursday.  It will be held at the Belmont Elementary School cafeteria near 14th and Judson from 4 to 7 p.m.

The open house will include interactive stations with staff from the BNIM Consultants, Sinclair Hille Architects, Urban Development Department and other City departments to discuss a variety of topics, including land use, housing, transportation, economic development, appearance and placemaking and other community enhancements.

There will be time for residents to ask questions.  When completed, the Belmont Subarea Plan will be adopted as part of the Lincoln-Lancaster County Comprehensive Plan. Examples of other subarea plans in Lincoln include the Downtown Master Plan, North 33rd and Cornhusker Subarea Plan and the South Haymarket Neighborhood Plan.

Snacks and other refreshments will be provided.
