A house fire which started in an RV and spread to two nearby homes kept Lincoln Firefighters busy Friday afternoon.
The fire originated in the RV, which was parked in the area of 30th and “U” Streets. Lincoln Fire & Rescue received the call around 12:45 p.m.
Battalion Chief Eddie Mueller told KLIN media partner 10/11 News that the RV was sitting in between two houses and spread quickly to the two homes.
“There’s extensive damage, water damage and fire damage to both homes,” Chief Mueller said.
There were no injuries reported. The RV was declared a total loss and the damage total is estimated to be $80,000.
