Lincoln Police Searching for Identity Thief, Bomgaars Robber

Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying the an identity thief which mistakenly ordered a package to the victims home and a pair of robbers who stole items from a north Lincoln farm store.

The first case occurred around on November 30, 2024, at a residence near 27th and Pine Lake Road.

The victim contacted police after receiving a notification that a package that had been delivered to his home, which he did not order.

Before he was able to get home and look at it, a woman arrived in a white/light colored Hyundai Veloster and grabbed the package from his porch. The resident was then notified that an unauthorized AT&T account was opened using his name and address.

Fortunately, the victim is not out any money, but unfortunately someone is using his identity.

The second case occurred on January 9, 2025, around 6 p.m. at the Bomgaars farm store, near 56th and Cornhusker Highway.

A male and female arrived at the store in a red Chevy Impala. After both of them entered the store, the female exited first to get the car ready for the male to attempt to run out with merchandise.

The employees tried to stop the man, at which point he knocked one of them over, causing the female employee to hit her head on the concrete. That employee had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital for medical care.

Police have identified the female, however they are seeking help from the community to identified the male, as he is the one believed to be responsible for knocking the employee over.
