Nebraska baseball will open the 2025 season nationally ranked. D1 Baseball released its preseason poll and listed the Huskers No. 24 in the country. One of two Big Ten teams in the national rankings (Oregon is No. 12), the Cornhuskers will look to build off a Big Ten Tournament championship and an NCAA tournament appearance.
National runner-up Texas A&M is the preseason No. 1, followed by Virginia, LSU, Tennessee and Arkansas. Nebraska will face the No. 3 Tigers, No. 7 Oregon State and No. 16 Vanderbilt in the non-conference schedule.
