Chicago Coming to Lincoln’s Pinewood Bowl

By Chase Porter Jan 13, 2025 | 12:16 PM

Multi-Grammy award-winners and Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame inductees Chicago will be returning to Lincoln this summer.

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the prolific rock-band will perform their plethora of hit songs at the Pinewood Bowl Theater at 7 p.m.

Chicago

Hailed as one of the “most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era, the legendary rock and roll band with horns, Chicago, came in as the highest charting American band in Billboard Magazine’s Top 125 Artists Of All Time. Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades.

The “Saturday In The Park” group has toured every year since they began — and they’ve never missed a year. 2025 marks the band’s 58th consecutive year of touring. This is far from their first visit to Lincoln. The super-hit troupe played in Nebraska’s capital city as recently as 2021 and 2022, and as far back as 1971 at Lincoln’s late-great Pershing Auditorium.

Chicago released their 38th studio album, Born For This Moment, in 2022.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on January 17 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com.
