Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews were called to the NuMark Golf Course near 89th and Pioneers just before 7:00 Sunday morning for a maintenance shed fire. Upon arrival, the shed was fully engulfed, flames coming through the roof,” says Public Information Officer MJ Lierman.
She says firefighters used a defensive strategy to battle the flames. The shed and everything inside is a total loss. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause.
No one was hurt. Crews spent the day monitoring for hots spots.
