Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects in two attempted burglary incidents, both featuring the use of prybar to try and steal cash from stationary machines.

The first case occurred around on November 16, 2024, around 6:15 a.m. at the The Office Gentlemen’s Club at 640 West Prospector Court.

Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says two suspects were observed on surveillance camera arriving in a red 2014 Honda Rincon ATV — believed to have been stolen from Playmakers bar next door.

One individual used a pry bar to pry open the employee door at The Office and gained entry. The pair was unsuccessful in stealing the businesses ATM and later returned with a concrete saw.

The concrete saw method failed, so the pair moved onto trying to pry open game machines, of which they were also unsuccessful.

Overall, the total loss was $6,000 for the ATV and over $1,500 worth of damage to the building.

The second case occurred on December 12, 2024, around 3:30 a.m. at the Hollywood Bowl near 48th and Vine Street.

Video surveillance captured two individuals breaking into the building with a sledgehammer/pry bar type tool, then trying to break into a game machine.

They were unsuccessful and ended up leaving quickly.

Keller said very little detail on their physical appearance was made available from the video, so they are hoping someone has some information they can share on these two.
