By Tom Stanton Dec 30, 2024 | 1:59 PM

The Nebraska State Patrol and U.S. Marshal Service teamed up to arrest a man on Saturday who is wanted by Texas authorities for murder.  State Patrol spokesman Cody Thomas says they received credible information from the U.S. Marshal Service’s Metro Fugitive Task Force that Alberto Perez-Millian was traveling through Nebraska on Interstate 80.

Thomas says the Metro Fugitive Task Force coordinated efforts with the Nebraska State Patrol in locating and apprehending Perez-Millian near Goehner.  He was taken into custody without incident.

Perez-Millian is wanted by the Arlington Police Department in Texas in connection with a murder investigation.  Thomas says the U.S. Marshals Service extended its gratitude to the Nebraska State Patrol for their immediate response and assistance with this arrest.

Perez-Millian remains in custody in the Seward County Jail in Seward County pending further legal proceedings
