Brice Williams led Nebraska with 30 points as the Huskers defeated Indiana, 85-67, Friday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Huskers outshot Indiana, 61 percent to 35 percent. NU’s shooting edge was even more pronounced from behind the arc, where it hit 57 percent (8-for-14), while IU hit a meager 23 percent (8-for-35). Nebraska owned the paint, outscoring the Hoosiers in the lane, 36-24.

Nebraska held a 44-41 lead at half and pulled away in the second half, finishing the game on a 17-1 run.

The Huskers now prepare for the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii. Nebraska will open play Sunday, Dec. 22 against Murray State. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m., with pregame at 7 p.m. on the 22nd on KLIN.
