A 21-year-old woman was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck at NW 20th and West O Street Monday morning. Lincoln Police say the woman was using the crosswalk when she was hit by the eastbound pickup just before 6:30.
She was taken to the hospital in critical condition with what were initially considered life-threatening injuries. LPD says after initial treatment her injuries are now considered to be non-life threatening.
The driver remained at scene and the investigation continues.
