The Nebraska State Patrol has released the results from their season-long traffic enforcement effort during Husker football games.

As fans packed Memorial Stadium, troopers spent gamedays patrolling roadways, monitoring from the air, and assisting with security in and around downtown Lincoln.

On gamedays this fall, troopers made 54 arrests for driving under the influence. Troopers also issued citations for speeding (456), driving under suspension (16), open alcohol container (19), no seat belt (12), and improper child restraint (8).

Troopers also assisted 219 motorists in need of help on Nebraska roadways.
