City Impact, a faith-based non-profit in Lincoln, is helping families struggling to make ends meet “shop with dignity” this holiday season.

Starting December 12th through December 14th, City Impact’s Gifts of Love Christmas store will be open to provide families the opportunity to shop for their children’s presents at 70% below retail prices.

Their gymnasium at 1035 North 33rd Street will be transformed into a makeshift store, with gifts purchased and donated brand new by donors to City Impact. Last year, the shop served 1,200 Lincoln families.

Dec. 12-14th until 11:00 a.m., families who already take part in City Impact programming will be able to shop, at 12:30 p.m. on the 14th qualifying families outside of the City Impact network are able to shop once they’ve registered. Registration details are available at cityimpact.org/gifts-of-love-2024

“We call it Christmas with Dignity because we want the parents to feel like they have actually participated in the shopping experience,” said City Impact Executive Director Kristy Goodwin.
