The weather is expected to good for the Lincoln Track Club’s Holiday Run at Pioneers Park Sunday morning. The annual event is a benefit for the Capital Humane Society. “There will be a 5k run and also a one mile run for the kids,” says executive director Matt Madcharro.
“Folks are encouraged to bring their dogs to join them and some people get very festive with that, with Santa outfits or elf outfits.” Madcharro says you can run or walk and the registration cost is $25.
