Lincoln Fire and Rescue (LFR) responded to the Williamsburg Apartments near 36th and Nebraska Parkway this morning after a detached garage building caught fire.
The fire was called in around 9 a.m. and crews arrived to find smoke and flames in the first unit of a 8-unit garage, LFR Public Information Officer MJ Lierman told KLIN News at the scene.
“They got a good stop (on the fire) and contained it to the first one to two units,” Lierman said.
Crews are looking for any extensions of the damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
