Lincoln Police are investigating a three vehicle crash that sent three people to the hospital Thursday night. Officers responded to 63rd Street and Adams Street just after 6:00 p.m. “The
investigation determined a dump truck pulling a trailer was westbound on Adams,” says LPD Lt. Jason Goodwin.
“The trailer broke loose from the truck and collided with a sliver Nissan Rogue and a Red BMW that were eastbound on Adams Street.” Goodwin says the driver and two passengers of the Nissan were taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
A passenger in the BMW had minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital. The truck driver was cited for no operator’s license and failing to secure the trailer.
