By Tom Stanton Nov 6, 2024 | 12:12 PM

Waverly voters on Tuesday elected Abbey Pascoe to lead the community forward.  Pascoe says after a dedicated campaign and history focused on open dialogue and a commitment to progress, she is ready to start working toward a brighter, stronger future for all Waverly residents.

“I am deeply honored by the confidence the people of Waverly have placed in me,” Pascoe says. “I look forward to serving each and every resident with transparency, candor, and a steadfast commitment to collaboration. Together, we can build a community that is safe, thriving, and full of opportunity.”

As mayor, Pascoe says her primary goals include fostering economic growth to support local families and ensuring public safety remains a top priority. She plans to implement initiatives that will stimulate economic development and protect Waverly’s unique character.

“We will work tirelessly to make sure that every voice is heard and every perspective valued as we grow together,” Pascoe says. “Waverly is a city that thrives on candor and collaboration and gives everyone a chance to be involved.”
