As a sanctioned International Tennis Federation event, players from the United States, Great Britain, Kenya, Germany, Czechia, Egypt, China and Japan will compete with matches
beginning daily at 11:00 a.m. with all matches held inside the tennis center where the Husker men’s and women’s tennis teams play.
Admission is free for the week-long event. Players will be competing for a total prize purse of $15,000. “This is a great opportunity for the community to see great tennis, but also great for the players participating to see our vibrant city of Lincoln and our welcoming community,” Dalmagro says. “It’s also a good opportunity for the Nebraska tennis players to compete at a professional level on their home courts.
