With 28 days until the November 5th General Election early in-person voting begins today.  Lancaster County Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen says voters can cast an early ballot in person at his office at 601 North 46th Street.

 

He says the office will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  Extended office hours will also be available on several days:

 

Friday, October 25th         8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Saturday, October 26th      8:00 AM to Noon

Monday, October 28th       8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Wednesday, October 30th  8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Saturday, November 2nd   8:00 AM to Noon

Monday, November 4th     7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

 

Voters are reminded they will need to present a valid photo identification, such as a Nebraska Driver’s License, State ID or another valid photo identification. They can also  complete a reasonable impediment certification before they will be issued a ballot.  The ID must have the voter’s name and photo.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Wiltgen tells KLIN News voters who have issues obtaining a valid photo ID should contact his office before Election Day. This will allow his staff the opportunity to assist voters resolve whatever challenges they may be experiencing.  Anyone who has questions should contact the Election Commissioner’s Office at (402) 441-7311.
