Portions of “A” Street are set to temporarily close for pavement assessments beginning Wednesday, October 2.
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) says the closures are as follows:
- “A” Street between 48th and 56th streets will have daily lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, through Friday, October 4.
- Eastbound “A” Street between 40th and 48th streets will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, October 3. The recommended detour is 40th Street to South Street to 48th Street. Local access to homes in the area will be maintained.
StarTran Route 54-Veteran’s Hospital will be detoured during this work.
