The Big Ten Conference announced that Nebraska’s homecoming football game against Rutgers will kickoff at 3 p.m. on October 5. It will be the Huskers’ second afternoon kickoff for a home game of the season, as the season opener against UTEP kicked off at 2:30 p.m. NU had played three straight home night games in a row.
Nebraska plays its first road game of the season Saturday at Purdue. Kickoff for that game is slated for 11 a.m., with pregame coverage beginning on KLIN and Froggy 98 at 7 a.m.
