Two people were injured after a car crashed through the front door of the All Feline Hospital near 48th and Normal around 2:30 Monday afternoon. LPD Lieutenant Jason Goodwin tells KLIN News a 77-year-old woman pulled up to the building and accidentally pushed the accelerator instead of the brake.
“The vehicle drove through the entryway of the business, striking two individuals standing in the lobby.” Goodwin says a 66-year-old Lincoln woman had to be extricated by LFR from underneath a desk and the vehicle.
“She was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for serious, non-life threatening injuries.” Goodwin says a 44-year-old Lincoln man was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Three employees inside the veterinary practice were not injured.
