Two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a woman outside a convenience store at 33rd and Holdrege around 11:30 p.m. on September 7.  LPD says 21-year-old Bradley Dennis and an 18-year-old from Lincoln were taken into custody in Ringgold, Georgia.

“LPD received information the two were headed out-of-state and investigators worked with our federal partners at the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force to locate and apprehend the suspects,” says LPD Public Information Officer Erika Thomas.

They are being held in the Catoosa County Jail and will  be extradited to Nebraska. Dennis will be taken to the Lancaster County Jail for discharging a firearm near a vehicle or building, unlawful discharge of a firearm and use of a firearm to commit a felony.

The 18-year-old will be taken to the Youth Services Center and referred for the same charges.   When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 20-year-old Lincoln woman with gunshot wounds. She was taken to a hospital and later released.
