Lincoln Police say one person was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle near 1st and ‘O’ Streets early this morning. LPD and Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews responded to the scene around 5:45 a.m.
The unidentified victim was struck by a westbound vehicle. LPD Public Information Officer Erika Thomas says the victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are still sorting out the details of the crash. LPD closed ‘O’ Street for about an hour during the investigation.
