The Associated Press ranked the Huskers No. 23 while the coaches poll listed NU No. 24, marking the first time since early in the 2019 season that the Huskers have been in the polls. The No. 23 ranking is the highest for Nebraska since late in 2016.
The Huskers have started 2-0 for the first time since 2016. Nebraska is next in action Saturday at 6:30 p.m. against FCS foe Northern Iowa.
