Lincoln Children’s Museum Offering Husker Game Daycare

By Chase Porter Aug 29, 2024 | 6:00 AM

Game Day Play Dates are back this Husker football season at the Lincoln Children’s Museum.

Parents can register their child to attend a staff-led play date at the Museum while they cheer on the Huskers this Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

“It’s like the little ones get to have their own little tailgate here at the Children’s Museum. They’ll have lots of fun with tons of activities, all sports related, football related, and most importantly, lots of time to play on our three floors of interactive exhibits and hang out with some friends during the game,” said CEO Tara Knuth.

For play dates over-lapping lunch or dinner, a meal from Kazoo’s U-STOP Café can be added to your registration for $5.50, or a sack meal should be brought from home. The program is available for kids ages 5 – 12 years old, and must be able to use bathroom on own with no regular accidents. Parents can drop off their kids starting is 90-minutes prior to kick-off, and must be picked up 60 minutes after the official end of game.

Game Day Play Dates is available every home game with the exception of the Nebraska v. Iowa game on November 29.
