Before the Huskers take the field against UTEP on August 31, Nebraska Football Fan Day will be held this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. inside the Hawks Championship Center. Nebraska Athletics has released details for fans coming to the event.
Doors will open at 11 a.m. Lines will form outside of the Hawks Center on the Southwest and Northwest corners of the building. The Clear Bag Policy will not be in effect, but all fans and their items are subject to inspection.
The North Stadium and the Osborne Legacy Complex will not be open to the public. Concessions will be located on the west sideline. Water, pop and Gatorade will be available, but will be cashless. Fans are encouraged to park for free in Lot 8, Champions Club, Lot 1 , Lot 5 or Lot 9.
UNL officials say Coach Matt Rhule’s autograph line is limited to pre-selected fans 8th grade and younger. Fans seeking autographs will be limited to one item per player. Posters and a roster/autograph card will be available for fans.
Even though the event is inside, fans are encouraged to take precautions due to the potential for extreme heat. Water may be brought into the event and will also be available to purchase.
