Before the Lincoln Saltdogs take the field Saturday night against the Sioux Falls Canaries, a celebrity softball game between Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue will be played at Haymarket Park.
The game begins at 3:30 and admission is free. Broadcast House employees will be playing with the LPD team. First pitch for the Saltdogs First Responders Appreciation Night Game will be 6:05.
A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to Lincoln’s First Responders Foundation. There will be a baseball card set giveaway and post-game autographs.
