Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) announced today that portions of three downtown streets will temporarily close beginning August 15 to accommodate the arrival of University of Nebraska-Lincoln students.
The closures are as follows:
- “Q” Street between Ninth and 10th streets will be closed from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 15. StarTran Route 55-Downtown Trolley will be detoured during this closure.
- “M” Street between Ninth and 10th streets will be closed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, August 16. StarTran Route 56-Sheridan will be detoured during this closure.
- 18th Street between “O” and “P” streets will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, August 17.
