It was a big night for the stations of NRG Media-Lincoln at Broadcast House.
KLIN and Froggy 98 combined to win six awards from the Nebraska Broadcasters Association Pinnacle Awards Wednesday, with NRG Media-Lincoln taking one more.
The top award of the night was that for Station of the Year, which went to Froggy 98.
KLIN won three awards on the night, all Gold. The awards were for Best Newscast (KLIN News with Mark Vail), Best Continuing Coverage of a News Story (University Place Road Project by Chase Porter), and Service to Business, Industry, Government or Education (Munch Madness XIV).
Froggy also took Silver in Station-Originated Community Service for Christmas Charity Chase and Bronze in Best Recorded Promotional Announcement for Swiftdogs. NRG Media-Lincoln won Silver in Best Commercial for Honest Engines “Start It Up”.
This is an improvement from 2023’s results for Broadcast House, where the stations combined for six awards and a single Gold.
