By Tom Stanton Aug 2, 2024 | 12:09 PM

A man and woman are facing several charges after the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force caught up with them during a traffic stop on Thursday near 17th and West ‘C’. Captain Todd Kocian says 39-year-old Clinton Nimmich was behind the wheel and 39-year-old Alisa Curtis was in the passengers seat.

“Officers discovered over $1,200 in Nimmich’s pants pocket,” Kocian says.  During a search of the vehicle officers found a Smith & Wesson .40 caliber handgun attached to the center
console and 91.2 grams of methamphetamine.

A search warrant was eventually served at their home and officers found eight more guns along wit oxycodone pills, 3.1 grams of meth, THC wax, 6.4 grams of psilocybin mushrooms along with other drug paraphernalia.

Three teenagers were also in the home at the time the warrant was served.  Nimmich and Curtis were booked on drug, gun and child abuse charges.
