A BNSF train derailed early Tuesday morning in west Lincoln.
BNSF confirmed to KLIN News that seven cars derailed in southwest Lincoln around 1:35 a.m. One car of ethanol spilled, but the leak was plugged and the spill was contained. Several Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews were on the scene. There is no threat to the public and no injuries to the crew. The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
