Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in multiple separate cases: a woman involved in a $13-thousand crime spree, and the other involving a man who snuck behind a gas station counter and stole a pack of cigarillos.
The first case occurred on July 1, 2024, at the Pinnacle Bank on 61st and Havelock Avenue.
Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says employees reported a woman came into the bank and allegedly forged checks in the amount of over $4,500.
Those checks were stolen from a purse that was locked in a vehicle at the Holmes Lake Dog Park. Police believe this theft is connected to at least two other purses burglarized from cars at the dog park.
Keller says there are eight total cases from this suspect, including the vandalism of the broken windows, credit card frauds from the individual using the credit cards, and forgery cases for the large forged checks — with a total loss value over $13,000.
Video and pictures of the suspect are available below.

The second case took place on March 12, 2024, at the Casey’s on 33rd and Holdrege.
While the cashier went to the restroom, a man snuck behind the counter. The employee came out of the restroom just in time to catch the guy behind the counter, and asked him to leave the store.
On his way out, the man grabs a package of Swisher Sweets and leave the store without paying for them as the employee tries to confront him.
The man left in a 2007-2012 Dodge Caliber.
