Lincoln Police have arrested a man accused of shooting a teenager inside his car at 51st and Vine on Sunday. Captain Todd Kocian says 21-year-old Alharith Kambol of Lincoln was taken into custody following a traffic stop at 33 & ‘O.’
“The LPD SWAT Team served a search warrant at Kambol’s residence where several firearms were located.” Kambol was arrested for for assault, terroristic threats and gun charges. The 19-year-old victim says he and some friends were sitting in a car in a parking lot when two men approached and pulled out guns.
He was shot while trying to driving away from them and suffered non-life threatening injuries. The search for the second suspect continues.
