All seven victims of Friday’s shooting in Crete have been released from hospitals.  7 people, 3 adults and 4 children, were injured when struck by shotgun pellets after a neighbor opened fire from his home across the street.  74-year old Billy Booth died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound during the incidcent.

A Nebraska State Patrol news release indicates the investigation continues as investigators work to determine if this incident was a hate crime.

The Nebraska State Patrol is the lead investigating agency.  Once the investigation is complete, it will be delivered to the Saline County Attorney.
