Heavy thunderstorms moved through the area overnight with a tornado warning for portions of Lincoln and Lancaster County around midnight.

Convenience Store at 48th & Garland
The pump awning at the Phillips 66 convenience store at 48th & Garland was blown over and a few limbs were down primarily in Northern Lincoln. At least 3 vehicles were stranded in the 48th & Cornhusker underpass.
The National Weather Service reported a confirmed tornado touchdown just south of Pioneers Park. Crews will be surveying damage later today.
The Lincoln Airport reported 3.24 inches of rain between 11 pm last night and 4 am this morning.
A FLOOD WARNING IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON…
Widespread storms are likely this afternoon and evening. Though strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible as far north as US-30, the most likely region to see severe weather will be south of I-80 and east of US-77.
