Lincoln Police will be hosting a car seat safety event at the Walmart on north 85th Street from 12-3 p.m. on Wednesday. “We’re really targeting parents who have questions about properly using the car seat with their kids,” says LPD Public Information Officer Erika Thomas.
“We will have trained car seat technicians on site to answer questions, provide educational materials and demonstrate proper car seat installation.” She says this will not be a full car seat inspection event.
Caregivers looking for that service can go to www.SafeKidsNebraska.org to find and sign up for inspection and installation services nearby.
