The Lincoln Board of Education will hold a work session and several public forums next week to discuss LPS’s preliminary proposed budget for 2024-2025 budget. District spokesperson Mindy Burbach says community members are invited to attend any of the public events to learn more and provide feedback during the development of the budget.
The preliminary proposed budget will first be presented publicly during a special Board work session at the Steve Joel District Leadership Center on June 25 at 4:30 p.m. Public comment will also be taken during the regular Board of Education meeting on Tuesday night at 6:00.
