The Lincoln Police Department is welcoming seven new officers to the force. LPD hosted their Spring 2024 Training Academy graduation ceremony Tuesday night at Southeast Community College.
Familes and friends of officers David Page, Jameson Collier, Tyson Cook, Connor McNabb, Jacob Eastman, Jacob Dennis and Noah Franzen were in attendance. Police Chief Michon Morrow could not attend the ceremony but delivered a video message.
“I’m truly excited for all of you and wish you much success. Know that we are all rooting for you, supporting you, encouraging you.” The recruits went through 22 weeks of training and testing. They will officially begin their shifts with field training officers on Thursday.
