Lincoln Public Schools will be holding two interview days to fill nearly 150 open positions across the school district.  The first will be held June 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Scott Middle School gymnasium.

Job openings include bus drivers, paraeducators, transportation paras, food service workers, food service manager trainees, head bakers, head cooks and custodians. District officials say walk-ins are welcome, but anyone interested in applying for a job is strongly encouraged to complete the pre-event application on the LPS website to speed up the process.

Interested candidates will need to provide an email address, social security number, driver’s license and at least three references.  Applicants should include email addresses for their references so LPS can send them a survey to complete.

In addition, candidates need to provide their work history, including dates of employment, company names, addresses, phone numbers, supervisor names and email addresses.  There will also be a second interview day on July 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at North Star High School.
