Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in two separate shoplifting cases involving alcohol.

The first case occurred on December 28, 2023, at the Super Saver on North 48th and “O” Street.

Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says a suspect was caught on camera concealing a bottle of vodka into the front of his pants.

He was confronted by staff and asked to leave the store. On his way out, he caused an altercation with employees in the front entry way. He was dropped off and picked up by someone driving a maroon colored older model Buick or similar sedan.

Video of the confrontation and photos of the suspect are available below.

The next case occurred on May 24, 2024, at the Casey’s General Store on 56th and Superior Street.

Employees reported to police, a suspect came into the store and stole a bottle of Hennessy and a bottle of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple Whiskey without paying for them.

The alleged thief left in a black SUV. Surveillance showed a very distinct tattoo on the left side of their neck.

Photos are available below.
