More legal trouble for Nebraska star volleyball player Harper Murray. Lincoln Police Public Information Officer Erika Thomas says the 19-year-old Murray has been cited for shoplifting stemming from an incident at the Scheels Sporting Goods store on May 3.

“Video surveillance showed Murray concealing merchandise in her pockets that she did not pay for and leaving the store on Thursday evening,” Thomas says. “She was then seen removing the items from her pockets while sitting in the driver’s seat of her vehicle in the parking lot.”

The stolen items were five gold rings with a total value of nearly $65.   Murray was cited and released on May 16 for theft by shoplifting, which is a misdemeanor.  This was the latest legal trouble for the 19-year-old Murray.

On April 5 LPD pulled Murray over near Vine Street and Antelope Valley Parkway after officers saw her break several traffic laws.  Police say Harper had a blood alcohol content of 0.169%, and has been charged with DUI.

Her initial arraignment was moved to June 24.

Murray issued the following statement on via Instagram story after being cited.
