Scattered thunderstorms are moving through portions of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa this morning. These storms will pose a low-end wind risk. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms may develop across southeast Nebraska late Sunday afternoon with a threat for large hail and damaging winds, particularly after 4 PM.

Looking further ahead, several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible through Tuesday afternoon. The greatest threat at this time appears to be large hail, some of which could be greater than 2 inches in diameter.

Severe wind gusts, tornadoes and flash flooding will all be possible as well.  By Thursday afternoon additional chances for thunderstorms are possible into next weekend.
