Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in solving two separate cases: one involving a case 14K gold chain fraudulently purchased with a stolen credit card, and the other involving a pair vacuum cleaner shoplifters.
The first case occurred on March 22, 2024, when Tabitha Health Care reported one of their business credit cards was stolen.
Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says the card was cancelled quickly once it was realized to be missing, but it was too late as the suspect was able to quickly purchase a 14K gold chain worth $2,200 from Riddle’s Jewelry in Gateway Mall with the credit card.
Photos of the suspect are available below.
The next case occurred April 13, 2024, at the Target store on South 40th and Yankee Hill Road.
Two suspects can be seen arriving at the store in a gold/tan colored Lincoln Navigator. The pair examined the fire exit at the back of the store before utilizing it to shoplift three Dyson vacuums valued over $2,000.
Surveillance photo and video of the incident can be viewed below.
