A court hearing for Nebraska Volleyball player Harper Murray on a DUI charge has been moved to June 22. Murray’s attorney went before a judge on Tuesday to ask for a delay. Lincoln Police says officers observed an Audi SUV driving east on Vine Street between 16th and Antelope Valley Parkway breaking several traffic laws around 12:45 a.m. on April 5.
Officers stopped the vehicle and and the investigation determined the 19-year-old Murray was suspected of driving under the influence. LPD says her BAC registered at 0.169, more than two times the legal limit.
Police say Murray also had a fake ID and did not comply with several officer directives during the investigation. Murray was cited for first offense DUI, careless driving and three other misdemeanors.
Murray was suspended for last Saturday’s spring match in Kearney.
