Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in solving two separate cases: one involving a case of suspected prescription fraud, and the other involving a violent attempted robbery which left the victim with multiple gashes to his face.

The first case occurred on March 29, 2024, at the CVS on 56th and Nebraska Parkway.

Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says the suspect dropped off a prescription with the pharmacy staff, who were advised by the prescribing doctor that he never filled that prescription.

When the suspect came back to pickup the prescription, she was denied and left the store. She was wearing an all black outfit with silver high heels, and has tattoos on both collarbones and possibly one on her chest.

Photos of the suspect are available below.

The next case occurred April 17, 2024, around 11 p.m. in the area of 12th and “D” Street.

A man was headed to his friend’s house after leaving the gym, and while parked in the area and looking for his phone, a stranger jumped into his vehicle claiming to have a gun and demanding he give up his car.

The suspect then began pummeling the victim in the head a reported 20 times causing abrasions to the his  forehead.

Tussling with the assailant, the victim was able to push the suspect out of his vehicle and quickly drive off in which he contacted police.

Nearby surveillance video was able to capture moments from the frightening ordeal. The suspect is described to be an Asian male, 5’7″, possibly in his late 30’s or early 40’s.
