More Than 40 Employers Looking To Hire During Lincoln Career Expo

If you or someone you know is looking for a job a Community and Career Expo will be held in Lincoln this Thursday. The Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development and several partner organizations will be at the ‘F’ Street Community Center and 12th and ‘F’ from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“It is incredibly exciting to welcome job seekers from around the area who are looking for additional career opportunities,” says Allison Hatch, Director of Workforce Development for the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development.

“As we continue to connect people to full-time careers and steady employment options, a wide range of area employers are ready to employ these job seekers with careers at all skill levels that offer great benefits,” Hatch says.

More than 40 area employers in healthcare, construction, manufacturing, government, early childhood education, IT and seasonal jobs will have direct hiring opportunities for job seekers. Career coaching provided by the American Job Center of Lancaster and Saunders Counties will also be available during the event.

“This partnership marks an exciting opportunity for us to provide on-site career and job search coaching to attendees, showcasing our commitment to empowering individuals in their career journeys,” says  Dylan Wren, Workforce Administrator for the City of Lincoln.
